Another Good Weekend, A Long One

Yup, long weekend!  It was fun.  Been hanging out with Melissa a lot lately, very fun.

Saturday I picked her up and we met up with Dann for some pho.  He was playing some games with another friend so he took off after that and it was Melissa and I.  Spent the day clothes shopping at “WEM”.  It was much fun, and bought a t-shirt and sweater.

After that we went to see 500 Days Of Summer.  It was a good movie.  Afterwards we headed back to Melissa’s and watched more movies.  She showed me Sabrina, the original classic.  It was really good!

I was at EB the other day with some friends and saw this, which I found very cool!

Moon

In the previous post, the movie mentioned was Moon.  Saw it at The Princess, an old theater that looks like it’s from the 50’s.  It’s on Whyte, and only has 2 screens, one per floor.  The screens were tiny and the seats broke by back.  But it was a fun experience.

The movie itself was a bit disappointing.  It was good, but I was hoping for more.  But I LOVED the soundtrack, and it turned out to be by Clint Mansell, so that figures.  He can do no wrong.

Another Awesome Weekend

Yup.

Over the course of the weekend I hung out with several friends, hung out on Whyte, went for lunch, for dinner, for beers, for wines, for walks, for movies and for road-trips.  All of this took place in the midst of an Edmonton heat-wave.  It was a good weekend.
